With over one million visitors each year, the Richmond Night Market is the largest nighttime street market in North America, and certainly one of Greater Vancouver’s most exciting places to satisfy your hunger on a long summer evening. Hundreds of vendors populate the Asian-inspired street food and culture market, which reopened for the season on May 11.

Visitors can indulge in tasty treats like duck dumplings, bao, wontons, and grilled calamari, while perusing the shopping stalls or just taking in the atmosphere. A Magical Dino Park boasts 18 moving, life-like dinosaurs to amaze the kids, and an entertainment stage features nightly live music, dancing, martial arts, and more.

The Richmond Night Market runs from mid-May to mid-October, and is open 7pm-midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and 7pm-11pm on Sundays.

General admission is $4.25, and those under 10 or over 60 get in free.

With thousands of visitors arriving each weekend, parking at the night market can be a bit tricky. We recommend popping into the shop for an overnight rental and a map of the bike route to the shop.

But don’t worry if you eat a few too many wontons and don’t feel up to the ride back, you can always bring your bike on the skytrain home.
